Before and After:

In my original clip, there was no audio due to the microphone not being on which meant there was no audio for this specific part of the film which meant there was no dramatic effect for the genre of my film. During my editing I added in sound, in order to make my scene much more effective as well dramatic. The sound I used was scary piano various effects mp3 and unease piano which gave an eerie and mysterious atmosphere. This was used in my final edit of my film.

In my original clip, there was no changes from when I first uploaded and began editing my film. There was nothing wrong with the quality of how the recording turned out, however, I believed it was boring and didn't give the feel of a horror film. To give my scene the horror film effect, I used the effect, lumeric colour curves panel and increased the red curve in order to give Athena a dark sinister look which made it seem more of a horror film. It created a more scary as well as sinister vibe for this particular scene. This was used in my final edit.

In my original clip, the actors were not ready which made the recording look unprofessional and made it seem that the team was unorganised as well as the recording not being in the right camera shot. This meant I had to re shoot this scene. When re recording this scene, I ensured that both of the actors were ready and that the camera was much more stable compared to the first recording. After a successful re shoot, I used this in my final edit.

In the original clip, there was no changes or adjustments made. I decided to change the saturation and turned it down to 69.6 which decreased the intensity of the colour which gave this part that grey effect which fits in with my chosen genre of film which is Horror. This was used in my final edit.

In the original clip, there was no changes or adjustments made. I decided to use the editing technique, cross dissolve in order to fade into the next scene and link them together. This made this part of the scene much more interesting and gave it more of a dramatic effect. This was used in my final edit.
